Chapter 5: Beast from Water
Rule Breaker!
Perspective: Piggy
Dear Diary,
Ralph called an assembly because people were taken a short in some places they weren’t supposed to, the fire was let out, and we are now supposed to take food up to the top of the mountain by the fire. We also have to take a short in the rocks now. Also, the beastie was brought up again now they think that it is from water. I understand all of the things that were brought up, but I don’t understand why everyone is so worried about the beastie. Nobody’s ever found a beastie, so I don’t believe in it.
Things are falling apart on the island. The little ones are having nightmares about the beastie and crying in their sleep, Ralph is losing authority, Jack isn’t obeying the rules, and Percival is scared of the beastie, and he misses his parents. The dirtiest thing there is about a human is lying and deception.
If I was leader right now, I would make sure that food, and the fire were better taken care of, and address the beastie issue.
